The new version of the EU ErP certification EU2019/2020 flicker test requirements

The ErP directives EC 244/2009, EC 245/2009, EU 1194/2012 and the energy efficiency labeling directive EU 874/2012 have been implemented for many years. The EU has continuously improved lighting product technology, environmental and economic factors, and actual user behavior in the past three years. These directives were reviewed by other parties, and a new version of the ErP directive EU 2019/2020 and the energy efficiency labeling directive EU 2019/2015 were issued on 5th December, 2019.

The new version of the ErP Directive EU 2019/2020 stipulates the eco-design requirements for the following products:
(a) Light source:
(b) Separate light source control device;

The above two requirements also apply to light sources and separate light source control devices in combination products (such as lighting lamps) sold on the market.The new version of the Energy Efficiency Labelling Directive EU 2019/2015 specifies the energy efficiency labeling requirements for light sources and light sources used in combination products.
The new ErP directive EU 2019/2020 and the energy efficiency labeling directive EU 2019/2015 will be implemented from 25^th December, 2019, and will be enforced on 1^st September, 2021. At that time, the old ERP directives EC 244/2009, EC 245/2009. EU 1194/2012 and Energy Efficiency Labelling Directive EU 874/2012 will be replaced.

Regarding the new ErP regulations (EU) 2019/2020 and energy efficiency labeling regulations (EU) 2019/2015 of EU lighting products, LISUN recommends the following supporting test solutions:
