Software Update Steps of LSG-1800BCCD/LSG-1700BCCD/LSG-5000CCD

LISUN will irregularly update the software of LSG-1800BCCD/LSG-1700BCCD/LSG-5000CCD. However, since each spectroradiometer in the system has its own independent hardware data file, we need to back up the hardware data file before updating the software (The step 2 below). The software cannot be installed without the hardware data file, and the use of the wrong hardware data file will cause deviations in the test results. The following takes LSG-1800BCCD software update as an example:

1. Save the old software settings: Open the old software, click system configuration, take a photo used to make the same settings when reinstalling the software.
2. Back up the hardware data file from the old installation file: Open the old software installation folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Lisun\LSG-1800B. COPY the following three hardware data files to the same folder as the new software.
3. Uninstall and completely delete the old software: Uninstall the LSG-1800BCCD software in the control panel or start menu, and then delete all the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Lisun\LSG-1800B.
4. Install the new software: Click the following LSG-1800BCCD new software to install it (The hardware data file marked in red below is from step 2).
5. Restore settings: Enter the system configuration interface of the new LSG-1800B software, and refer to the photos retained in step 1 for settings.
6. Re-calibration: refer to the part 2 <System Calibration> of installation video of LSG-1800B https://www.lisungroup.com/products/goniophotometer/high-precision-rotation-luminaire-goniospectroradiometer.html to re-calibrate, and then it can do normal test.
