Test Procedures:
• Prepare the 10A 250V or 16A 250V two-pole socket-outlet to be inspected, ensuring its front surface is clean and free of obstructions.
• Insert the short pin of the gauge into the live contact tube holes of the socket-outlet smoothly.
• Check that the short pin does not touch the live contact tubes of the socket-outlet.
• Remove the short pin and insert the long pin of the gauge into the same live contact tube holes completely.
• Confirm that the long pin makes firm contact with the live contact tubes of the socket-outlet.
• Determine compliance: If the short pin fails to touch the live contact tubes and the long pin successfully contacts them, the socket-outlet meets the standard requirements.
