LISUN RWG61000-12 Ring Wave Generator – After-sales Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Ring wave test generator is designed according to the IEC (the International Electro technical Commission) standard IEC61000-4-12, EN61000-4-12, ANSI-C62-41 and GB/T17626.12. This instrument is used for the simulative electrical network, the power supply of the reactive load and the control line switch, as well as sensing the ring wave of the low voltage cables terminal equipment caused by the disconnection of the power circuit, fault and insulation breakdown or lightning stroke. The RWG61000-12 series products have LCD display in both English and Chinese.

Q1: The ring wave generator can’t be powered on. (The fuse or MOV burn out when the ring wave generator is turned on)

A1: The power input of the ring wave generator is unstable, the voltage is too high or other power supply problems may cause the fuse and MOV to burn out. Please try to use a stable power supply.

Q2: During the test, the main power of the laboratory will trip.
A2: It is important to connect the isolation transformer to the “Internal CDN input” on the back of the ring wave generator according to the rated power of the EUT. Without an isolation transformer may easily cause the power grid to trip.

Q3: The EUT is not on when you click “EUT Power” on the touch screen.
A3: After completing all wiring, please confirm that the output of the isolation transformer is turned on before performing the surge test. Please confirm that the switch of the “Internal CDN input” on the back of the ring generator is turned on.
