The HFP-800 High Frequency Power Supply works with LPS-3 (Lamp Preheat Assistant Source) and RB-3 (Adjustable Resistance Ballast) to be an IEC Standard Test System which used to test the high frequency fluorescent Lamp such as T5 Tube. Features:

Q1: When setting parameters for HFP-800, the window display content is not related to the content marked on the front panel of the instrument.
A1: The four windows on the front panel of the device are as follows:

During the test, the window display content is consistent with the content marked on the front panel. The window display definition during the test (from left to right): output voltage, lamp voltage, lamp current, lamp power/output frequency.
The HFP hardware has been improved, and the test parameter settings are slightly different. The old version instrument is displayed as follows when setting: When setting parameters, the window display content is not related to the content marked on the front panel. The window display definition during setting (from left to right): no meaning, lamp open circuit voltage or starting voltage, no meaning, lamp rated voltage or working voltage.
The new version instrument is displayed as follows when setting:

Q2: There are output terminals on the front panel and also on the back panel of the RB-3. How to do the wire connection?
A2: The output terminals on the front and back panels have the same function, so you only need to use any set of them. Note: When using one set of them, the other set of terminals must not be connected to any wires, otherwise there may be unpredictable dangers.
